Faxing Services

Outgoing Fax Policy

How We Handle Outgoing Faxes

At Ecorse Public Library, all outgoing faxes are managed by our dedicated library staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Each fax transmission requires a completed fax cover sheet, which can be obtained at the circulation desk. After your fax is sent, you will receive a confirmation page that indicates whether the fax was successfully transmitted or if there were any issues. Faxing can be done during the library’s operating hours.

Incoming Fax Policy

For incoming faxes, please inform us in advance with details about the expected transmission, the recipient’s name, and the payment information. You must be present to collect your incoming fax. While we will make an effort to contact you if we have your contact details, it is not guaranteed.

Unclaimed faxes will be discarded if not picked up within 48 hours of receipt. The library reserves the right to discard any fax at its discretion, especially if it remains unclaimed beyond the specified period.

Error Policy

Disclaimer of Responsibility

At Ecorse Public Library, we strive to ensure that all fax transmissions are successful and of high quality. However, we are not responsible for errors that may occur due to poor image quality, issues on the receiving end, incorrect fax numbers, or any other related problems. We recommend double-checking all details before sending your fax to minimize the risk of errors.

Our staff is trained to assist you with your faxing needs, but please be aware that some factors are beyond our control. If you encounter any issues, we will do our best to help you resolve them, but we cannot guarantee the success of every transmission. Thank you for understanding.
