Computer Usage Guidelines
Library Computer Rules
Patrons must sign in at the circulation desk to use a computer. Patrons are allowed to use the library computers for 1 hour per session. Extensions may be granted if no other people are waiting. The library will maintain a waitlist and strictly enforce time limits if there are no computers available to those who need to use them.
All users must adhere to the library’s Computer and Internet Use Policy, which prohibits accessing inappropriate content, downloading unauthorized software, and engaging in illegal activities.
Food and drinks are not allowed near the computers. Please handle the equipment with care and report any technical issues to the staff immediately.

How do I reserve a computer?
Reservations can be made in person at the library or by calling. We ask that you sign in at the circulation desk before using a computer.
Can I print documents from the library computers?
Yes, printing is available for a small fee. Black and white prints cost $0.10 per page, and color prints cost $0.25 per page. At this time, the library only takes cash payments.
What software is available on the library computers?
Our computers are equipped with a variety of software including Microsoft Office, web browsers, and basic photo editing tools.
Is there technical support available?
Yes, our staff is available to provide basic technical support. For more complex issues, we can refer you to local tech support services.
Are there any age restrictions for using the computers?
All ages are welcome to use the computers. However, children under the age of 7 must have adult assistance while using the computers, and all children must follow the Children and Vulnerable Adults in the Library Policy.
Can I save my work on the library computers?
We recommend saving your work to a personal USB drive or cloud storage. The library computers do not retain personal data after a session ends.
What should I do if a computer is not working?
Please report any technical issues to the library staff immediately. We will do our best to resolve the problem or provide an alternative solution.
Can I use my own software on the library computers?
No, installing personal software on library computers is not allowed. However, you can use portable applications from a USB drive.
Do you have headphones I can borrow?
We do offer over-the-ear headphones for users to borrow and return at the end of their session. Earbuds are also available for sale at the front desk; they cost $1.00 and are yours to keep if you purchase them.
