2019 Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program is on!
July 13 – August 2, 2019

Summer Reading Program at the library is an annual summer-long program with events and reading incentives for all ages. The program typically runs from June to August. The theme of the 2019 Summer Reading Program will be A Universe of Stories, celebrating outer space and the 50th anniversary of the first man on the moon.

All Summer Reading Program events are free, but registration in the program is required for some activities. You can sign up at our Summer Reading Program kick-off party or anytime afterwards at the library service desk. Upon registering in the program, both kids and adults receive a reading log that they may submit to be eligible for prizes.

This program will end on August 2, 2019 with a Kids Day at Dingell Park on W. Jefferson Avenue in Ecorse, MI 48229!!  Come on down for fun, food, games, bouncy houses, prizes and give aways!  Register on site for you Ecorse Public Library Card and the EPL Lego Club!
